Hello, everyone!

A new study has revealed a large-scale pro-China propaganda campaign has been targeting American voters on various social media platforms as recently as this month, ahead of the midterm elections.

Cybersecurity firm Mandiant published a report on Wednesday with their findings. Some of the messages included videos inciting civil war and political violence as well as downplaying the effectiveness of voting.

John Hultquist, Mandiant’s vice president of intelligence analysis, said, “They’re very aggressive. They seem to be very well resourced, if not very effective. They’re trying to put protesters on the streets of the United States, which is pretty brash.”
