Hello, everyone!

A new poll has found that AAPIs played a key role in catapulting Democrats to victory in the midterm elections.

The poll was conducted by the AAPI Civic Engagement Fund who looked at races such as Democratic incumbent Katie Porter and her Republican candidate Scott Baugh in California’s 47th Congressional district. Voting-age Asian Americans comprised 23% of the adult population in the district and leaned heavily for Porter 53% to 36%.

Additionally, it examined the race in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional district between Democratic incumbent Susie Lee and Republican challenger April Becker. Of the estimated 82,290 eligible voting Asian Americans in the district, 47% supported Lee over the 43% that favored Becker.

The poll also found that Asian Americans had the second highest net support for Democrats on a national level with 51% leaning Democrat and 37% supporting Republicans.

What do you think of the “doughnut burger” and would you try it?

I would be hesitant to try it. I just like regular glazed doughnuts.
