A kindergarten teacher in southeastern China was fired after forcing two students to go out under the scorching sun as punishment for “disturbing” others during nap time.
The incident, which sparked outrage on social media, occurred on the noon of June 19 at the Da Feng Che kindergarten in Zhangzhou, Fujian province, according to The Paper.

Noontime naps are practiced in Chinese preschools to ensure that children conserve energy for afternoon classes.
However, the pair of male and female students played instead, allegedly disturbing their classmates.

“Let this teacher try one afternoon, too.”
“If you don’t have the patience for it, don’t bother being a kindergarten teacher.”
“This teacher has mental issues. I recommend sending this person straight to a facility.”
“Adults can’t even stand this hot weather and you actually let children lie there to sleep? How vile.”
