BTS Member Has The ‘World’s Best-Sculpted Face’ After 1.5 Million People Vote

He bested 18,000 faces from 58 countries.

A BTS member emerged as having the “world’s best-sculpted face,” a Czech Republic-based doll-maker said.

After analyzing 18,000 male faces from 58 countries, CzDollic selected Kim Seok-jin, better known as Jin, and nine others as part of the Final 10.

More than 1.5 million people then voted for their favorite among the final contenders between Dec. 15, 2018 and Jan. 15, 2019.

Of that number, Jin amassed 1.5 million votes, effectively landing him on the top spot.

Jin came face-to-face with Indian actor Ravi Bhatia and American model Sean O’Pry in the Final Three, who landed in second and third places, respectively.

CzDollic, which conducted four-month research before selecting the contenders, said that Jin’s “oval features balanced symmetrically that [he] can be filmed from any angle,” while his mouth “beautifully curved.”

CzDollic claims to be a professional doll-designing and sculpting team founded in 2015.

For winning the coveted title, they engraved Jin’s face on a crystal cube, which gleamed in blue and bore the word “Sculpted.”

The contest also collected votes on Twitter, where a majority of Jin’s votes apparently came from.

Fans rejoiced over his win:

This is not the first time Jin’s facial features received recognition. In February 2018, a plastic surgeon who analyzed 269 Asian male faces declared that his had the “golden ratio” of 1:1.618 ― the cross-distance between the ears (1) and the cross-distance between chin and hairline (1.618).
