FBI Raids Home of Subway Guy Jared in Child Porn Investigation

Earlier today, the home of Jared Fogle, the well-known face of Subway, was raided by FBI agents due to allegations relating to child pornography.

Fogle’s home, located in Zionsville, Indiana, was served warrants appearing to be connected with an ongoing investigation concerning Russell Taylor, former executive director of the Jared Foundation.

Fogle’s lawyer, Ron Elberger, spoke to FOX59 saying:

“Jared has been cooperating with law enforcement and its investigation of certain unspecified activities and looks forward to its conclusion.”

So far Fogle has not been arrested, detained or charged. However, a Subway spokesperson released the following statement:

“We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee.  We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely.  We don’t have any more details at this point.”

Taylor is currently serving time behind bars for child exploitation, possession of child pornography and voyeurism. The connection between Fogle and Taylor is not clear at this point, but when Taylor was arrested in April, Fogle said in a statement released to FOX59:

“I was shocked to learn of the disturbing allegations against Mr. Taylor. Effective immediately, the Jared Foundation is severing all ties with Mr. Taylor.”
