A woman was caught on surveillance camera trashing a Vietnamese-owned nail salon in Houston after she was politely asked to wait as the staff tended to a customer before her.
The incident happened on May 16 at around 1:30 p.m. at Top Cindy Nails on Veterans Memorial Drive.
The unidentified woman reportedly became impatient and started complaining. She then began knocking over the display items. The family owners immediately stopped the woman and dragged her out of the salon. However, she also attacked the man as seen in the surveillance video.
Two bystanders saw the scuffle and intervened. Before the woman took off, she allegedly threw something at the man’s car, which they presumed to be a drink.
The post from Instagram account Jackfroot claims the woman who helped the salon owners said the suspect followed her home and attacked her with a baseball bat.
The incident has now been reported to the police.
NextShark has reached out to the owners of Top Cindy Nails and the Houston Police Department.
“All three parties declined to press charges on the matter,” Thomas Gilliland of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office told NextShark.
