Guy Starts Epic Kickstarter Campaign to Make Potato Salad, Raises BANK

photo-main

I guess it’s true when they say you can pretty much crowdfund anything. A man by the name of Zach Danger Brown recently launched a Kickstarter project to fund a potato salad he’s making. Here’s his sales pitch:

I’m making potato salad.

Basically I’m just making potato salad. I haven’t decided what kind yet.

The initial goal was $10, but as of today, he’s made over $21,000 and counting. There are still 25 days left in the campaign. Since its unexpected success, they’ve added several stretch goals like using better ingredients, live streaming the making of the salad, and renting out a party hall for a potato salad party.

Pledges start at $1, in exchange for a “thank you” and the highest is $50, which includes a cookbook inspired by potato salad recipes from backers all over the world.

So what are you guys waiting for? Hurry up and back this project!
