According to The Paper, the male teacher punished the students for eating and talking during the period.
In surveillance footage, he is seen summoning the students in front of the class.

The entire class appears to remain silent throughout the teacher’s rage episode.

After discovering the incident, the school administration asked the teacher to bring the students to the hospital for medical examination. They then contacted the students’ parents to apologize for the incident, Yunnan Net reported.
On Monday, the Xuanwei Education and Sports Bureau convened to discuss an appropriate punishment for the teacher. Officials decided to suspend him as the investigation continues.
