Olympic sibling duo Alex and Maia Shibutani were recently featured by The Ringer to do a fun commentary on “Blades of Glory”.

Joining Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald of The Watch, the highly adored ShibSibs of Team U.S.A. did an analysis of some of the most iconic scenes from the 2007 comedy classic film.

The film, which stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, centers on the rivalry between two top American figure skaters who set aside their feud to compete as a pair in the Olympic Winter Games.

During the 5-minute clip, Alex and Maia made interesting comments on the prepared scenes from the film, which, they shared, they both saw on the plane to their first Olympics.

“That’s so good for your blades,” Maia noted of the scene where the skaters made an unorthodox move clashing each other’s skates. “Sparks on skates, we’ve never tried that,” Alex said.

“That’s a sign of a really good team, communication,” Alex said of the skaters who were shown talking during their performance. “Making a decision at the last moment, yeah,” Maia agreed.

“These siblings have given us a hard time,” Alex said referring to the sibling characters of Will Arnett and Amy Poehler. “There were probably tweets related to us about the Olympic Games with these two and we couldn’t be further than “No, okay this is not what the Olympic Games are about.”
