Many of us have our way of celebrating when we reach a certain level of success. These things can include throwing a big party for you and your friends, giving back to charity, or buying your dream car. If you’re this Indian textile magnate however, you have a 9 pound solid gold shirt made for you to flaunt in broad daylight.

Parakh commissioned the shirt to celebrate his upcoming 45th birthday on Friday. As you can see, he looks like he belongs on a runway.

The amount of swag here is too damn high.

Pankaj Parakh dropped out of school at a young age, but that didn’t stop him from creating a multi-million dollar business in India. Like any normal person that reaches success, he’s very proud of his achievements.

‘I wanted to wear something special when I say my thanks for my success at a thanksgiving visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple of the Hindu elephant god in Mumbai.’

The gold used to make the shirt reportedly cost roughly $213,500 USD. He claims that he got a good deal, so we’ll just take his word for it.

Parakh also claims to get envious looks from both men and women alike when he walks down the street with it. He even needs to hire guards to protect him as he flaunts his success.

Although the shirt is made entirely of gold, Parakh notes that it was carefully made so that it’s as flexible as a normal shirt. It’s also just as comfortable due to a thin cloth lining inside the shirt. The shirt was created by Shanti Jewellers at Parel in Mumbai, where a team of about 20 craftsmen together spend the last two months putting it together. They spent 3,200 hours in total.

The businessman has received criticism for flaunting his wealth in front of people who are poorer, but who are we to judge right? It’s his money anyways.

How would YOU celebrate your success?
