Take a Tour of Kobe Bryant’s $7.5 Million Home in Newport Coast, California [PHOTOS]

Lakers star Kobe Bryant has just lowered the asking price on his Newport Coast home, according to the Los Angeles Times. Originally listed at $8.599 million, the mediterranean-style mansion is now listed at under $7.599 million. The new asking price is still a few steps up from its original sale price of $1.7 million in 1997 due to the Bryants’ additions to the home.

The four-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate has expansive city and ocean views, and walnut flooring and limestone finishing are found throughout. The 8,500 square feet interior includes an 850 square foot gym, a hair salon (which was built for Vanessa Bryant, Kobe Bryant’s wife), a theater equipped with a wet bar, lobby and stadium seating, and — get this — a private library that has a shark tank installed.

The mansion was at one time going be transferred over to Vanessa Bryant’s ownership as part of their 2012 $75,000,000 divorce settlement along with two other properties, but the Bryants called off the divorce in 2013.
