South Korea has a new female K-Pop group claiming to be “all-natural” — that is, members have not had any plastic surgery.
Managed by Illusion Entertainment, HighTeen just dropped a 16-second teaser of their debut mini-album, along with a profile clip showcasing members HyeJoo, Hyebin, EunBin and Se-A.
The teaser is accompanied by audio which might be an instrumental snippet from one of their songs, as the usual case in K-Pop. It’s dreamy to the core, beginning and ending with a flamboyant dream catcher.
Meanwhile, the 24-second profile clip highlighted the members’ “all-natural” beauties. In an earlier interview, the girls revealed (via Soompi):
“None of us have gotten [plastic surgery], and we don’t plan to in the future.”
They said Illusion discouraged them from going under the knife:
“Our agency head put us in a girl group together because he was happy with our physical appearance and said that we must not get plastic surgery. To be honest, it’s not that there aren’t areas that we’d like to fix, but we don’t plan on getting plastic surgery. We don’t want to get it.”
HighTeen is slated to debut on October 14. Watch the clips below:
