Here in America, college students suffer from first world problems – “went through the drive through at In-N-Out, now my car is going to smell like burgers and fries for a day” or “the school’s Wi-Fi is so slow, it’s taking forever to load an episode of “Game of Thrones.” But at the American University of Dubai, undergrads suffer from what we’ll call “Dubai world problems” and they sound something like, “had to settle for a new Dodge Charger, seriously fml.”
Thanks to student Meeka Nasser, we get a glimpse of the sick whips of insanely rich students and local “Emirati” that fill the undergrad parking lot at the private American University of Dubai. Bentley Continental GTs, a Golden Rolls-Royce, Aston Martins and Ferraris seem to be what’s in style this year. All these cars belong to undergrad students aged 18-24, and Nasser explains, “These pictures were taken in the span of a couple days and only in one of the parking lots of the school, so this isn’t even close to all of the nice cars at the school… Because Cayennes and Range Rovers are a dime a dozen here, I only included a few of them in the album.”
Check out these insanely sick cars that will make you wonder why these kids are even going to school. Call me cold hearted, but I still don’t feel sorry for the kids with the Ford F-150, the Camaro, or the Charger.
