For a few hundred bucks, a Belgian-based firm will let you enjoy your dinner 150 feet above the ground via its specialty restaurant service called “Dinner in the Sky”.
The unique dining experience which takes thrill-seeking diners into the sky by hoisting a platform via a stable crane is set to make its debut in Los Angeles on July 1.
Not for the faint-hearted and the budget-conscious, the LA event will be hosted by 2Spicy Entertainment and will run for the entire month of July with prices starting at $399. Tickets for the opening and closing nights (July 1st and 31st), hosted in partnership with Destination Luxury can be purchased here.
For this one-of-a-kind endeavor, LA diners will be securely strapped into special seats and fastened with harnesses. A four-course meal cooked and prepared by World-renowned chef Keven Lee will be served by the airborne restaurant staff to compliment the LA aerial view. Since there will be no bathroom in the dangling platform, guests will be advised to make a restroom visit before ascending.
Launched in 2006, “Dinner in the Sky” has been providing the unique experience to several cities around the world such as, Paris, Athens, Cape Town, Rome, Las Vegas and Kuala Lumpur.
“Dinner In The Sky is a once in a lifetime opportunity that awaits Angelenos, and is sure to be an unforgettable experience, whether done as a social outing or a corporate incentive,” said 2Spicy Entertainment Inc. President Alexander Mayer.
