As of now, the video has been watched over 142 million times. Kohl’s, the store where Payne got the Chewbacca mask from, recently stopped by her house showed her family with gifts.
Most recently, Payne also appeared on James Corden alongside “Star Wars: The Force Awakens“ director J.J. Abrams.
Since the video, the Chewbacca mask has literally been sold out everywhere online.
Resellers, looking to make a quick buck are reselling the mask on Amazon and Craigslist for obscene amounts. CNBC reports that some masks are fetching up to $1000.
