Angry Artist Paints a Portrait of Mark Zuckerberg Using His Own Sh*t

It’s no secret that many people aren’t happy with Facebook for its privacy issues. Many have voiced their discontent through social media and in online petitions; in the case of Brooklyn-based artist KATSU, however, he felt the best way to make his feelings known was through painting a portrait of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg — using his own feces.

This is not the first time KATSU’s used art to express his hate for the social network. Two years ago, the artist decorated New York City with posters depicting Zuckerberg with a black eye and chipped tooth.

Back then, KATSU told Gizmodo through email:

“With the internet being literally woven into the human experience i cannot stand by and not voice my discontent with those who plan on owning our lives. I’m upset, and confused. I want the ability for people to permanently remove their information from Facebook… that is not possible. I want Facebook to adequately explain to all users the extent to which their data will be farmed out and shared.”

The poop portrait is currently on display surrounded by blinking neon lights at Manhattan-based art gallery The Hole.
