A talented 5-year-old Chinese girl impressed everyone when she showcased her piano prowess at American TV show “Little Big Shots” hosted by controversial personality, Steve Harvey.
The 5-year-old girl named Chen Anke, who’s from Tianjin, China, was beaming with smiles as she played the piano in front of a large crowd, according to Shanghaiist.
Chen started playing the piano when she was just three and gained popularity in China after her videos went viral, according to South China Morning Post.
Steve Harvey, who received backlash after his controversial comments about Asian men, had nothing but praise for the little girl.
“This little star takes music to a whole new level of genius. We’ve never seen anything like this before in the history of Little Big Shots,” he said as he introduced her.
In an interview after the show, Chen said that she practiced playing piano everyday and revealed that one day, she hopes to become a piano master. The cute girl, who wore pigtails and a pink dress, also admitted that it was her dad who wanted her to play piano.
The “Modern Mozart” from China’s repertoire includes music from Ludwig van Beethoven and Johann Sebastian Bach. She was also featured in a Chinese local TV show program called “Amazing Kids”.
At such a young age and with her already rich talent, it won’t be long before she makes her dream in becoming a piano master a reality.
